Meredith, which owns magazines such as Family Circle and Ladies’ Home Journal as well as 12 local TV stations, recently created a social marketing and mobile agency within its marketing services division to complement other acquisitions in new media.

In attracting advertisers to their media properties, this would seem to cut out the middleman, the traditional agency, and give Meredith the ability to offer an all services in one price.
